We are a center of compassionate presence and service that offers hope and eases the hardships of those in need in East Pierce County.

Our Call To Service

We, as concerned citizens, choose to serve those in need in the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi by reaching out to the poor, the oppressed, and the immigrant. All services are provided free of charge.

Our Mission

St. Francis House offers hope for the future by providing basic necessities not provided by others. We exist to improve the lives of those in need.

How does St. Francis House sustain itself?

St. Francis House operates solely on partnerships with our community members, organizations, businesses, and volunteers. We could not sustain our programs without help from our entire community. 

How can I help?

There is a variety of ways to support St. Francis House, from direct monetary donations, to volunteering, and even shopping on Amazon! To learn more, go to Giving Opportunities.

Do you assist with food?

Only on an emergency basis. We can provide you with the contact information for your local Food Bank. 

WHEN CAN I SHOP? I MISSED MY SHOPPING DAY.

You can shop on the day and time that is on the front of your card.

Tuesday and Thursday

  • 10:30 am — 11:30 am
  • 12 pm — 1 pm
  • 1:30 pm— 2:30 pm

Friday

  • 6:30 pm — 7:30 pm
  • 8 pm — 9 pm

Shop the Nook

The Nook is a charity boutique operated by St. Francis House. The Nook sells “twice-loved” treasures at low prices in person at our Main Street location or in our online store.
