Donations Hours and Updates
**Donation Center Saturday Closure Update**
Due to the incredible generosity of our community, we are currently receiving more donations than our staff can process while maintaining the level of service and attention our clients and donors deserve. As we head into the busy holiday season, staying caught up with donations will become even more challenging at our current staffing levels.
To help us manage donations effectively and continue serving our community well, St. Francis House will be closed on Saturdays beginning October 12. We will reevaluate this schedule after the first of the year.

**DONATION HOURS**
Monday-Wednesday-Friday : 10am – 5pm
Saturday: 10am – 2pm
CLIENT SHOPPING ONLY — CLOSED TO DONATIONS
Tuesday & Thursday
Sunday: CLOSED
Due to our limited space, donations are limited to 6 bags or boxes per day. We are also asking that for the safety of our staff and volunteers, these bags and boxes weigh NO MORE than 25lbs. We appreciate your generosity and understanding.

INCLEMENT WEATHER
We follow the Puyallup School District CLOSURE, LATE ARRIVAL and EARLY DISMISSAL inclement weather schedule
We aren’t accepting the following items right now due to capacity

- Books
Effective immediately, for the safety and health of our clients, we will no longer accept the following.
Baby & Children’s Items
• Baby swings
• Bath cradles and seats
• Bouncy seats
• Car seats
• Carriages, strollers, baby carriers
• Cribs
• Used toys including stuffed toys
• Highchairs
• Playpens, play yards, play centers
• Potty chairs
• Used toys including stuffed toys
• Walkers
Our clients will not take soiled baby items (90% of what we get are soiled). These are items that fill our dumpster quickly. Please don’t bring estate or garage sale items with stickers still on them. We don’t have the staff to remove them.
Car seats are the only items our clients ask for. However, we have no way of knowing if donated car seats are expired or recalled. For the health and safety of our client’s children, we do not want to risk giving them a dangerous car seat.

The Nook is a charity boutique operated by St. Francis House. The Nook sells “twice-loved” treasures at low prices in person at our Main Street location.
