We believe every child should be equipped with the supplies needed to be successful and ready for school. We also understand that sometimes our families struggle in being able to afford the long list of school supplies that are needed each year. In 2019, St. Francis House served 1,116 low-income students with a backpack full of grade-appropriate school supplies and clothing for school.
School Supply Drive:
Our Back-to-School Program will start Tuesday, July 28 and run through the end of August. We’d love to have items donated by Friday, August 21st in order to serve all the students through the last week of the program. We aren’t sure what school will look like next year, but however it looks, supplies will be needed!
If you would like to partner with us in collecting school supplies to distribute to students in need, please email Patty at firstname.lastname@example.org. This is a great activity to host at your office, within your service club, and/or at your church. Our greatest need is age-appropriate backpacks, this year we would like to be able to supply each child with a brand new backpack.
